Antonella Mansi is the new president of the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana.

The shareholders also elected the new board of directors.

 

The Shareholders of the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana (CFMI) – the public-private body that controls  Pitti Immagine and Ente Moda Italia, among other firms, and is one of the founding members of Polimoda – met today in Florence. The meeting, presided by Andrea Cavicchi, elected Antonella Mansi as the new president of the CFMI for a three-year term, 2018-2020.

 

Antonella Mansi – the vice president of the Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria) and a director of her family’s chemical firm – will officially assume her duties during the next Board of Directors meeting, taking over from Andrea Cavicchi, who headed the CFMI from 2015 to 2017.

 

Andrea Cavicchi opened the meeting by thanking the shareholders and Board of Directors for their support, confidence and the work they accomplished together during his mandate. He then presented a report on the CFMI’s activities during those three years, – with details on the results achieved in the fields of promotion, training and education, and the culture of fashion. The meeting acknowledged that the set goals had been met and thanked the entire outgoing board.

 

Then, after having taken note of the shareholders’ preferences and recommendations, Mr. Cavicchi submitted the names of the new candidates which were accepted and approved by the meeting which unanimously elected the new president.

 

The new Board of Directors was also elected. The members are: Claudio Bianchi (reelected), Andrea Cavicchi (previously a board member), Aldo Cursano (new), Luca Giusti (reelected), Marcello Gozzi (reelected), Leonardo Lascialfari (new), Niccolò Manetti (reelected), Luigi Salvadori (new), Marino Vago (new).

 

The new Board of Auditors was also elected. The chairman is Roberto Vanni (new), and he will be flanked by Laura Benedetto (reelected) and Giuseppe Cristiani (new). The alternate auditors are Stefano Ballerini and Sauro Settesoldi.

 

At the end of the meeting, Andrea Cavicchi wished the new president and new board all the best for the coming years, and expressed special thanks to the outgoing board members (Stefano Ciuoffo, Ferruccio Ferragamo, Luca Lotti and Claudio Marenzi).
